Bioinformatics is a strategic area for Chile and  Latin America and, therefore, a transversal field to the development of Science, Technology and Economy. SIBI is an  international annual meeting organized in Chile. The Conference is an opportunity for students, researchers and companies to interact and diffuse knowledge related to information technology associated with  economy, human health and conservation through a Bioinformatics and Computational Biology perspective.
